Strike-down of Roe v. Wade and What it Means for Employers

On June 24, 2022, the Supreme Court officially held that the Constitution does not confer a right to abortion; Roe and Casey are overruled, and the authority to regulate abortion is returned to the people and their elected representatives. – Employers sponsoring self-funded health plans
– Ancillary benefit considerations such as travel reimbursement policies, including tax concerns and mental health parity
– Trigger laws, sanctuary states and potential state legislation
